I have been on the look out for a lightweight compact stroller for a little while for when we travel to my parents and go on holiday. Don't get me wrong, i love my silver cross but it takes up to much room in the boot when we're away for more than a couple of days.

I wanted something that folds up small and is lightweight but still offered features such as a recline and decent hood. I didn't want to spend loads of money but at the same time didn't want something cheap and flimsy.

We ended up purchasing the Joie Pact from Argos on offer at £119. It weighs 6 kg, folds up small, comes in a variety of colours and even comes with a carry bag and rain cover.

The stroller itself is easy to set up, you just click the wheels and shopping basket into place and unfold the pushchair and you're done. The fold/unfold is really quick and easy to do and the handle is adjustable to 2 positions which is a bonus as a lot of lightweight compact strollers have a fixed handle height. (you do however need it on the highest setting when its sunny to get a decent shade on lo).

The pushchair feels sturdy and has some form of suspension although i'm not sure it would be so comfy over cobbled streets. The seat looks comfy enough and the harness has soft pads. The recline is really good and is actually suitable from birth! But, it would be better if the seat sat slightly more upright as it's quite a relaxed position and my child is nosy!

The pushchair is so easy to push/manoeuvre as it's so light and offers a smooth ride on your standard terrain. Having the bumper bar, carry bag and rain cover included in the price is a bonus as other brands sell these separate.

The best thing about this pushchair is how easy and how small it folds down, it hardly takes up any room in the car and you could easily carry it (either by the handle or carry strap) whilst carrying your child.

For the price i would say its a great mid range option for the occasional traveller/to keep in your car.
