BIBaDO Review

We all know that weaning can get rather messy, especially if you're baby led weaning. In the early days it can be more like messy play than meal times which is all good fun until its time to clean up! Baby's hate getting clean (well mine does at least) that's where a "good" bib is essential.

I was very kindly sent a BIBaDO around a month ago to trial and put through it's paces. Since then we have been using our BIBaDO at mealtimes and have been having great success.

The bib its self is large and bright suitable for both boys and girls and is made of a stain free wipe clean material that is free from BPA, Phthalates and Azo-dyes. This is amazing as the majority of Reuben's bibs are now stained and discoloured and need washing regularly.

Its a one size fits all as the neck and sleeves are adjustable so you only need to buy one (or two if you like to use one against the other). The sleeves are quite tight so can be a little tricky to get on but the reason they are tight is to keep arms/clothes clean and give total protection.

One of the unique features of the bib is that it goes over part of the highchair tray meaning there are no gaps for food to drop onto your baby's lap. Any food that is dropped is caught on the bib and easily removed when you take the bib off. Clean baby, clean floor (win, win). It's compatible with all highchairs and even folds up small into an internal pocket to store in your bag and also contain any mess when out and about.

In my opinion this bib is a brilliant invention and saves me time with cleaning up. I don't need to worry about removing Reuben's clothes before eating and it saves me time as i don't need to sweep/wash the floor quite so often. It's perfect for the early days of weaning through to toddler hood. I'm not sure how happy Reuben will be about wearing the bib as he gets older/bigger (time will tell) but for now we will be continuing to use our BIBaDO until its no longer required.
